About the lesson

My lessons cover a range of topics, but the focus is always defined by the student. We will spend the first ten to fifteen minutes discussing goals, strengths and weaknesses. Then we will produce a timeline with established threshholds based on the student's deadline and I will provide exercises based on the current proficiency of the student. My lessons consist of a combination of worksheets, video lessons, timed writing exercises, brainstorming techniques andgrammatical analysis.

Iearned my Master's degree in Englush literature from Arizona state University. Iam a tutor at Gateway Community College and worked as a writing mentor at Arizona State University. I teach Native American Literature at Healing Human Services in Tempe, Arizona as part of a substance abuse program, so I have experience working with students at various different academic levels.
