About Jennifer
I have a PhD in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University, where I specialized in 19-century novels and translation studies. I then brought my passion for literature to the high school classroom, where I have focused on teaching analysis and critical thinking as well as effective and personalized writing. I love connecting with young people and helping them to develop and express their ideas.
As a current counselor-in-training, I am also sensitive to the emotional needs of students and work to make academic learning a source of personal growth and enrichment.
