About Lennox
Hi! I’m a high school student with a strong interest in literature and English. I enjoy reading and exploring how stories, poems, and media express deeper meanings and ideas.
In school, I’ve developed solid skills in analyzing texts, understanding themes, and writing essays, and I often help classmates when they’re stuck on assignments. I’m patient, easy to talk to, and I like explaining things in a way that’s simple and clear.
Why I Want to Teach Literature
I want to teach literature because I know it can feel confusing or overwhelming at first. A lot of students struggle with understanding what a text means or how to explain their ideas — and I enjoy helping make those things easier.
Literature is more than just reading — it’s about understanding perspectives, ideas, and messages. I like helping students build confidence in their thinking and writing, and seeing them go from “I don’t get this” to “this actually makes sense.”

My lessons are designed to be relaxed, supportive, and focused on helping you actually understand literature — not just memorize it.
In each session, we can work on whatever you need most, including reading comprehension, analyzing texts, and improving your essay writing. I’ll guide you step by step through themes, symbols, and key ideas, and show you how to explain your thoughts clearly.
A typical lesson might include:
Going over homework or assigned readings
Breaking down difficult passages together
Practicing how to analyze themes and symbols
Working on essay structure, paragraphs, and writing techniques
I adapt each lesson to your level and pace, so you never feel rushed or lost. You can ask questions anytime, and I’ll always make sure things make sense before moving on.
My goal is to help you build confidence, think critically, and improve your skills in literature over time.
