About Georgie

I grew up in foster care from the age of 7 and am now 21. I work for a local authority now to support other children in care in sharing their views and opinions and wanted to share my experiences to better enable students and their practice.

About the lesson

A space on this platform to share the lived experiences of people in care and offer a safe space to ask questions around this. The lessons will touch on sensitive subjects and cover my own lived experience but feel free to request particular areas of interest i.e. case files, meetings, building relationships etc.
