About Destiny
Bonjour! :) My name is Destiny, and I am a university graduate in French and English Studies with over 10 years of experience working with youth as both a tutor and camp educator. I have worked in Toronto, Québec, and France and also speak Cantonese.
My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and goals. Whether you're looking to improve your grades, strengthen your language skills, prepare for an exam, or build confidence in French, I will create a personalized plan to help you succeed.
I believe learning should be encouraging rather than stressful, and I strive to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace!

If you’re looking for a patient, encouraging, and dedicated French teacher, you’re in the right place! I create personalized lessons tailored to each student’s level, learning style, pace, and goals with the use of fun games, worksheets and flashcards. Beyond teaching the language itself, I help students develop effective study strategies so they can continue improving with confidence outside of our lessons.
My approach is student-centered, supportive, and focused on building both skills and self-confidence. I specialize in French immersion help, reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and conversational French practice. Whether you want to strengthen your academic abilities, improve your communication skills, or feel more comfortable using French in everyday situations, my goal is to make learning engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for every student.
