About Vivien
I worked many years in the nonprofit sector and have years tutoring and teaching children and adults. I have also started to learn more about editing and proofreading. I love tutoring and teaching because I love to see a student gain more confidence, which is definitely necessary when learning a new language. Luckily there are a lot of similarities between Spanish and English, which will help our sessions immensly.

I tailor my lessons according to how my students learn whether the prefer visual or audiotory lessons. I also tailor a lesson to a students' interest ie what they are passionate or interested in and focus learning Spanish with those themes in mind. I also use a scrabble board to increase vocabulary retention.

Perfect! Vivien is was very friendly and encouraging. That really helped since I am not very confident with my Spanish. We had a really nice lesson, and she gave me great suggestions for how to improve my Spanish in between our lessons too!
