About Barbara
The ability to speak Spanish has been the foundation of my professional life. I practiced law for many years. I was able to help many clients from Spanish-speaking countries. I have written papers and published a book in Spanish. However, I am not a native speaker. I first studied Spanish in high school. If a person like me can become fluent in Spanish, so can you! Spanish is fairly easy and extremely useful. Let’s get busy!

Spanish could be the key to getting a job. The growing number of people from Spanish speaking countries makes Spanish very useful. I believe I can communicate my love for Spanish due to long experience using the language with native speakers daily.
A typical lesson plan would begin with introducing vocabulary and engaging students in conversation. Each class would deal with common topics: work, school, interests. History and current events can be drawn on to make the class interesting.
