About Felicity
I am a passionate music graduate and would like to spread my knowledge and love for music. I feel that it is my duty to share that enthusiasm and fascination with children and young people. I know from experience that the school education system can be seen as hoops to jump through to get to the next stage. My aim is to find the fun and creativity in the music syllabus that the student is working on. Whether this be working through a music theory book or going through parts of the GCSE, A Level or AS Level syllabus. I would like to encourage the students to find the excitement in whatever music they are doing so they enjoy learning and thriving musically. My specialist areas of music are composition and performance. I would love to help students to develop their composition techniques and help creatively whilst still adhering to the criteria. I would also be great at helping students within the performance part of their course. I am a singer and teach vocal lessons at an affordable rate. I believe that this is an important part of any syllabus but also for the enjoyment and musical progression of the student. This helps with the day to day confidence of any student but also regarding music, their competence in performing will aid them with theory, composition and listening skills as well.
