About Alexander
I'm an LLB, LLM and BPTC graduate who is currently applying to become a barrister at the Bar of England and Wales.
I completed my undergraduate LLB at Queen Mary, University of London with a year abroad at the University of Leuven, Belgium. During my year abroad I completed an additional LLM programme in EU and international law. I achieved an overall 2.1 (68% average) and was awarded the Dissertation Prize for the highest dissertation mark in the year.
After my LLB, I worked as a paralegal for a year in a commercial law firm in the City of London.
I was awarded a scholarship to study the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) by BPP University and recently completed the course with a Very Competent grade. I also reached the semi-final of the Middle Temple mooting competition that year.
I achieved A*AA at A-Level and 7 A*s, 2 As and 2 Bs at GCSE.

I am open to teaching law to GCSE, A-Level or undergraduate students. I have particular experience with criminal law and international law. I am also open to teaching Advocacy, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, and Professional Ethics to current BTC students.
My classes will be similar to university-style tutorials. I will use material that I was given during my classes at university. I would recommend the following:
- Pre-prepared questions to discuss in class
- Unseen questions to also discuss in class
- General discussion and Q&A
My approach will be informal and collaborative.
