About Mason
Heya, I'm Mason
I started my music journey at age 22, 23 started my own band 'Unentitled', 24 released my first professionally recorded EP and at 25 working on my first album. And now I've spent over a year and a half teaching children and adults the wonders of playing guitar.
In the past, I've struggled with learning guitar due to what I'd consider outdated teaching methods that overcomplicate what should be a fun and exciting journey of personal and musical discovery. I strongly believe in the value of passing on knowledge and skills to our younger generations. Another important aspect of teaching guitar (or any musical instrument) to children is inspiring them to take interest for their own personal benefit. Given my life experience, I've come to learn many ways and approaches to instil this inspiration.
