About Sam
I have studied both Geography at undergraduate level and International Development at Masters Degree level at top universities, and am currently working in Business Development outside of London, while tutoring in my spare time.
I have taught just over 70+ hours of Geography and Politics to both GCSE and A-Level students, with almost all of them achieving their desired grades, and feeling much more confident in their abilities.
I have a particular interest in geopolitics and the history of politics and economics, with both my dissertations covering topics ranging from political uprisings in Venezuela to the political economic development of the Mexico/US relationship. I ran several societies while at Universities that revolved around social enterprise in developing countries, which enabled me to use my knowledge and research into their economies and political arenas.

I prefer to teach online when possible, as I believe that it can be just as useful to students as face to face tutoring, particularly with the technology available, and can even be more interactive. I like to not only make sure the student feels comfortable with the topic they are studying, but also that they are confident in their ability to write answers that will get them the marks and results they want. I primarily aim to teach students at both A-Level and GCSE, as I specialise in exam technique and preparation, which is most relevant to these levels of study.
