About Keightley
My name is Keightley and I’m a first-year undergraduate studying Politics and International Relations! I love reading interesting articles and learning languages such as German, Russian and Arabic!
I realise how difficult I found it studying all by myself and I want to help others through teaching what I’ve learnt!
My grades:
-A Level: EPQ (A*) Economics (A) Business studies (A) History (B)
-GCSE: Business (8) History (8) English Language and Literature (8) Spanish (8)
I love reading and research, I have also done my own research project on “How successful can Motorsports be as a soft power tool and to what extent does it affect national development in different countries?”
This motivated me to get opportunities for work experience at His Majesty’s Treasury, interview Formula One racers such as Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, attend the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in 2023 and 2024, be a fellow of the Global Youth Leadership Academy with UCLA and speak at embassies in the UK and Norway and meet many different ambassadors!
I have applied to many summer schools and scholarship opportunities and now I receive funding and support for my journey to become a United Nations diplomat! I hope that I can help other students achieve their best!! :)

My lesson format:
I teach KS4 & KS5, lessons will last 1 hour per session!
Availability: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday afternoon or evenings.
I have tutored many of my peers in my school, taking struggling students from GCSE grades 3-7 and A level students from D-A in a few weeks. I am also standard DBS checked!
In my lessons, I will focus on:

-Worked examples of exam questions
- Exam criteria
- Essay techniques
- In-depth critical analysis
- Evaluations and conclusions to create strong and convincing arguments!
