About Hermona

I am now a senior at the University of San Diego about to graduate with a degree in Molecular biology and minor in Chemistry. I am also a research student with over 300+ hours of working in molecular biology and infectious diseases.
I have tutored other kids for biology before so this is not a new concept to me and I am more than capable of helping you learn more about our beautiful planet on a larger or molecular scale :). I am here to help you with your biology class and will always be available to answer questions, please do not be afraid to reach out to me!

About the lesson

When it comes to teaching a topic as difficult as biology, there are many ways to easily get lost, I dont focus on memarization I want my students to actually learn the material presented to them.
Thus my lesson plans consist of objectives I want my students to meet every lesson, my lessons will not densely be focused on lectures, I want my students to be heavily engaged in the lesson. This means I would assign light readings and I want them to come with questions. I will use diagrams and slideshows to demonstrate certain functions which have been proven to help students in the past.
As a student myself, I can tell when my students are learning or just dosing off confused thus I will make sure all of you guys really understad and grow to love biology!
My lessons would be focused for high school students, I would specialize in IB biology and AP biology but I will be able to work with lower levels of biology as well.
