About Iria
I am a PhD student looking to help people to learn/improve their Spanish during evenings and weekends. I have more than 5 years of experience teaching Spanish to both kids (5-15 y.o) and adults. I have helped my students with school (both homework and exams), speaking and writing proficiency and preparation to DELE. I am a double graduated in Politics and Journalism, and have finished my MA in International Relations few months ago. I have worked as a journalist in Spain and I am still writing pieces as a freelance in both Spanish and English, which means I can help you not only to learn Spanish, but also to improve your writing skills and writing compelling texts.

My classes are bespoke for the specific needs of each students: some people only need support to do their homework, whereas others need to learn Spanish from scratch to professional proficiency. First hour is always for free to speak about the students' goals and expectations, and then a study programme will be developed from them. My classes always include a lot of talking, writing essays and exercises from workbooks - I correct everything collaboratively with my students, which helps develop understanding and critical thinking.
