Hello! I'm Natasha Pizarro, and I am a dedicated teacher who believes in the power of positive pedagogy and tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. With a deep passion for my cultural roots and music, I strive to provide a nurturing and respectful learning environment focused on achieving your goals. As a native Spanish speaker from Costa Rica, I can offer language lessons. Also, I am a third-year PhD student in Music Performance- Bassoon at UGA. As a private tutor of Spanish and bassoon, my approach is focused on meeting the individual needs and goals of each student. For Spanish, I emphasize conversational skills, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural awareness. I utilize a variety of resources such as textbooks, online materials, and real-life scenarios.
When it comes to bassoon, I prioritize proper technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills. I believe in building a strong foundation in fundamentals. Incorporating exercises, etudes, and repertoire that are both challenging and enjoyable to help students grow and develop as musicians.
