Growing up, my classical music education was STRESSFUL. So I strive to make my music lessons a joyful experience. I want my students to develop a lifelong love of music, while providing the structure and discipline they need to succeed. My holistic approach includes:
- posture and breathing
- deep listening
- curriculum guided by the interested of the student
- techniques, beginner to advanced
- how to make the most of at-home practice sessions
- dealing with performance anxiety
- mindfulness, finding joy, keeping it fun
- music theory and history where relevant

Luke is a smart, caring, and fun player! We've played together in unique settings with diverse repertoire and it's always a blast. His experience in music is very diverse and makes him a great teacher, particularly for people just getting started in music looking to see what really ticks with them!
