About Louise
My home tuition company began 3 years ago, since then I've tutored over 100 pupils. I currently tutor over 25 children from the ages of 7-11 years.
I believe in: positive reinforcement; empathy with every child; celebrating success; individualised target setting.
All children leave when their unit of work is complete with achieving all their given targets.
I have a 75% success rate with children sitting the 11+.
I have an education degree (B.Ed Primary Hons) which I achieved in 1995.

My name is Louise Downward.
I'm a qualified primary teacher with over 22 years experience. Throughout my career I have taught children from the ages of 4 up to 16.
I am passionate about my teaching and truly believe every child can achieve their true potential, with the understanding of an inspirational teacher.
I encourage confident and independent learning in a friendly, structured environment.
Every programme of work is tailor made to meet the child's individual needs.
I offer: Maths, English, S.E.N, KS 1/2 SATs,
and 11+ tuition - either individually or in pairs - to children from 4 to 11 years old.
