About Luca
I'm excited and eager to help A-Level Politics, Geography, and/or Economics students achieve the grades they aspire to. Having gone through the process myself, I know firsthand what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to exam success. My lessons focus on proven methods that helped me, ensuring students develop strong exam techniques and a clear understanding of key concepts which can be ingrained long-term
Currently, I study Sports Science and Geography at Loughborough University, and my passion for teaching and helping extends beyond academics. I’ve coached multisport after-school clubs in Brighton during my A-levels, and I see tutoring as another way to give back, sharing the strategies that worked for me during my A-Levels.
Outside of studies, I’m a huge sports fan, especially football, and I never miss a chance to watch Brighton & Hove Albion play. I also love travelling, often hiking in the Lake District with my dad or visiting family in Milan. My long-term goal is to work in sports policy & governance/ management (hopefully at Brighton), but for now, I’m focused on helping students succeed in their studies with engaging, effective lessons.

My tutoring approach is based on firsthand experience of what truly works in the classroom. I focus on exam success by structuring lessons around past paper questions (which was the backbone to my A-level success), and mark schemes, ensuring that my students understand how to apply knowledge directly and effectively. Each session targets specific exam techniques that helped me achieve great success in my own A-Levels. Lessons range from 45 minutes to 2 hours, staying engaging, and importantly maintaining efficiency when analysing content, through interactive methods like exam question plan evidence tables, acrostic poems for key concepts, and visual tables to simplify complex ideas. As a first-time tutor, I bring fresh, relatable insights that connect with students.
