About Will
I am passionate about learning and believe in the power of persistence, having experienced firsthand how dedication can transform a student's academic outcomes. In Year 12, struggled with my studies, earning mostly Ds and Cs. However, with the correct intervention, I was able to turn things around dramatically. I completed my A-levels (Biology, Chemistry, and Maths) with three A*s, a testament to the importance of the correct guidance and hard work.
Outside of academics, I enjoy watching football and educating myself about space (fascinating!). I also enjoy spending time outdoors, great for mental well-being!

My approach to tutoring simplifies Chemistry for GCSE and A-level students by breaking down complex concepts into manageable chunks. I prioritise understanding the "why" behind topics, ensuring students gain an intuitive grasp of the material. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each student's pace and learning style, fostering active participation and problem-solving.
Sessions typically last 60 minutes, balancing depth with engagement. I hold an A*in A-Level Chemistry and am pursuing a first-class degree at university.
I have previous experience tutoring both GCSE and A-Level students.

Details
I am currently living in Barrow-in-Furness, in southern Cumbria, however, I am willing to travel with a fee of £0.80 per mile.
For example, if you are located in Ulverston, 10 miles away, this would cost an additional £8 per lesson I travel to.
Please bare in mind I am happy to do a mixture of in-person and online lessons so you do not have to pay this fee every time.
