About Louisa
Hi, I’m Louisa, a bilingual high school student passionate about teaching Mandarin. Over the past summer, I taught more than 30 students, helping beginners and intermediate learners improve their speaking, reading, writing, and pronunciation skills. My lessons are structured, personalized, and interactive, and I provide homework, weekly progress feedback, and optional lesson recordings to ensure students and parents can track improvement. I take my role as a tutor seriously and am committed to creating a professional, patient, and encouraging learning environment for every student.

Teaching Method & Techniques:
I provide personalized lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning pace. In every session, we will:
- Practice conversation to build speaking confidence
- Review previous vocabulary and introduce new vocabulary
- Complete guided reading and writing exercises
- Practice pronunciation with feedback
- End with a short review and Q&A
Additionally, I assign homework every session to reinforce learning, provide weekly feedback to parents on progress, and can record lessons if parents want to review them.
