About Brenda

I have taught life science, physical science, earth science, health science, zoology, biology I and II at college level with labs, anatomy & physiology I & II with labs at college level. I have also taught both subjects at high school level with Anatomy & Physiology being offered as advanced science. I have over 30 years experience in teaching any of the given classes above and have enjoyed every minute of it. I thorough believe if you can get the basics you can master the greater picture. Although I have not had to teach microbiology I have taken it and feel comfortable in teaching it if I know what the student is covering. My background varies as I have been the biologists for mosquito control, taught field biology at USM, and pre-nursing and pre-med students at various colleges. I have had 15 years experience in teaching at the high school and middle school level.

About the lesson

Lesson plans will be based on material the student is currently covering or has had trouble with in past lessons and will ready them for exams. I will need to hear from the student to know what type materials will be needed as each individual will most likely be covering different areas and levels of science.

Details

Rates may vary. If two or more students are tutored at the same time they can share the rate. If I run overtime in order for the student to achieve understanding I will not charge extra. If I have to drive over 20 miles I will add $5.00 gasoline fee.
