I have a B.A. and M.A. in philosophy plus two years of doctoral work. I have taught college students for 20+years in areas like, introduction to philosophy, critical thinking, and philosophy of art. My teaching approach is student-centered. Through a variety of methods I strive to facilitate comprehension for all learning styles. Our lesson structure will include readings, discussion, writing, visual aids, and field trips.

Course setup
I have been an adjunct professor of philosophy for over 20 years. I have also taught English at public schools. As a ballet instructor, I have had a long career of over 40 years. The marriage of philosophy and dance happens in my development of a course I currently teach in philosophy of art at a community college in the San Diego county. I did extensive work in developing the curriculum for this course and won an Excellence in Teaching award in 2012. My students achieve the results of an enhanced world view when they study the various courses I teach.
