About Namrata
I’m a student and will always be a student because there is unending knowledge that one can ever gain in this life. I have been teaching since past five years now. I teach Maths, Science and Social Sciences. I’m a Master in Economics. Love for teaching has been there since the very beginning, it helps me learn a lot everyday as each individual is unique and you get to learn from them so many new things. Making my students love the subject that they hate the most is the reason why I love my job. It makes me happy when students change their opinions about the subjects. Scores, yes are important but knowledge is worthy. My aim has always been to improve the standard of knowledge that a student has before and after my lessons. This ultimately results in good scores. I have always been getting a Distinction in whatever exams I have ever had but what matters to me is my growth in that particular subject that just mere marks. And that’s what I strongly believe in.

I’m currently taking my Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham. I tutor all the students from the first grade to degree levels.
The structure of the lesson is very simple. We usually begin with the basic knowledge about the topic because I think once the base is strong nothing can go wrong. So after brushing up the basics I make sure that the concept is very well acknowledge by the student. Giving day to day examples make the student relate themselves to the topic and also it acts as the best medium to store the knowledge about the same for a long term and once the topic is understood by the student, making him/her apply that knowledge in practical life by giving some questions makes them test themselves about the topic that they have covered during the class. And finally giving some homework to keep the student in touch with the subject makes it more effective.
According to me a good tutor is the one who understands what exactly is the problem faced by the student and helps him/her to not just overcome the problem but also to excel in it.
