About Morgan
Hi! My name is Morgan McClellan, I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with my BA in theater arts, with a minor in education, and have worked as an acting coach for several years now in addition to being a working actor myself. In addition to studying theater for four years at LMU, I also studied camera acting and voiceover techniques in New York at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. For the past four years I have worked as an acting coach for Avanti Model and Talent Management, and I am used to teaching students of all ages, from as young as 6 to age 60. I am very fun and knowledgeable, I love all things performance and am passionate about spreading that love and helping others improve!

I am well versed in several different acting methods including Meisner, Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, and Stella Adler, and I use a combination of techniques from each method to adjust to each student's needs depending on their level of experience and talent. This way each student receives a unique experience tailored to them that will drastically improve their understanding of the craft as well as their range/capabilities.
First-time students should have a monologue prepared to perform during our first lesson so I can gauge their level, and the first few lessons will be spent learning different techniques and applying them to their monologue performance.
Then we will move on to scene work and script analysis, and later get into the nuances of auditioning and self-tape strategies.
This structure is subject to change depending on the needs, experience level, and interests of each student. If a student wants to focus more heavily on one aspect of performance (camera techniques, audition etiquette, cold reads, etc.) I will adjust my lessons accordingly.
