About Sarah
I'm a 3rd year Economics student at LSE, with a summer spent at JPMorgan. I lead a team of analysts at LSE's student investment fund and have years of experience breaking down technical, numbers-heavy problems into something clear and manageable. I got into tutoring because I remember exactly what it felt like to be stuck on a concept and needing someone patient enough to explain it properly. I want to give students that same clarity and confidence with maths.

I tailor each session to how the student thinks best, building from first principles rather than just drilling past papers. Lessons run 60 minutes and combine guided explanation with independent practice, so concepts stick rather than being memorised. I study Economics at LSE and have used advanced mathematics daily through financial modelling, valuation, and quantitative coursework, so I'm comfortable explaining both the mechanics and the intuition behind a method. I work with GCSE and A-Level students, focusing on exam technique, filling gaps in fundamentals, and building genuine confidence with numbers rather than just short-term grade improvement.
