About Finn
With 11 years of experience in teaching violin, I have successfully helped around 300 students, including high school students, college learners, and adults, to build confidence and improve their skills step by step. My teaching approach is simple, practical, and student-focused, as I believe learning should be easy to understand and enjoyable.
I focus on important areas such as posture, bow control, rhythm, and tone quality, ensuring strong fundamentals. I explain concepts clearly and provide exercises that support consistent progress. One of my key achievements is helping students improve steadily and perform comfortably in front of others.
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident, motivated, and excited to continue their musical journey.

My teaching approach for violin is built on strong communication, flexibility, and a deep understanding of each student’s learning style. I believe that every student learns in a unique way, so I carefully adapt my lessons to match their pace, goals, and comfort level.
I focus on building a solid foundation in posture, bow control, fingering, and tone production through step-by-step guidance and regular feedback. To make learning more practical and engaging, I use real-life examples such as learning favorite songs, performing simple pieces, and understanding how music is used in concerts and daily life.
In addition to violin, I integrate music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and basic keyboard skills to strengthen overall musicianship. I also encourage creativity by allowing students to explore expression and interpretation.
My goal is to create a positive and structured environment where students feel confident, motivated, and excited to grow as musicians.
