I have a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and a background in Physics, both of which provide me solid academic credentials and experience in teaching. I am professional, patient and dedicated to helping students understand difficult ideas, build confidence and achieve their academic goals through tailored, entertaining sessions.

My tutoring style is practical, student-centered, and emphasizes comprehension over memory. I make use of detailed explanations, practical applications, guided practice, and step-by-step examples. Lessons start with a review, which is followed by the introduction of new ideas, group problem-solving, individual practice, feedback, and a summary. I am able to make difficult subjects approachable and interesting because of my PhD in applied mathematics, physics background, university teaching experience, and STEM expertise. I instruct middle school, high school, and undergraduate students in math, physics, science, and STEM.
