About Amanda
I never thought I would be a teacher/tutor. In middle and high school, I struggled to excel due to a learning difference. I had to figure out how I could learn on my own, and once I did, school suddenly made sense. English and writing are my forte, but after tutoring for six years, I discovered that teaching math is a lot of fun. I love playing math games (and inventing a few!) with students and seeing them succeed!

Hello! I'm Amanda Marrero, ex-magazine editor and writer who strangely loves teaching math. Most of my students hate school or struggle with core subjects, but I was there once and can sympathize.
