About Margaretine
I am a dedicated saxophone tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, working with high school and college students. In this short time, I have proudly trained more than 300 students and helped them build confidence through music. Teaching allows me to share my deep love for education while guiding students to develop both skill and discipline. One of the most memorable milestones in my career was preparing a group of beginners for their first live stage performance. Seeing their fear change into confidence was truly special. Many of my students now perform at school and college programmes, and some have joined music clubs and bands. My teaching method is simple, clear, and well-structured. I focus strongly on breath control, sound quality, finger coordination, rhythm, and reading music. I believe steady practice and patience lead to real success. I create a safe learning space where students can make mistakes and grow without pressure. My goal is not only to teach saxophone but also to shape confident and disciplined individuals.

My saxophone teaching focuses on building strong foundations and guiding students step by step towards mastery. Through clear communication, I explain every concept in a simple and easy way. I make sure students fully understand before moving to the next level. Accountability helps students stay responsible and regular with their practice. I provide structured daily warm-ups, weekly targets, and regular performance reviews. This helps students stay disciplined and motivated. Integrity is at the heart of my teaching. I guide students to practice with honesty, patience, and focus. Lessons include breathing control, posture, finger technique, tone development, rhythm accuracy, and reading music. As students progress, they learn scales, improvisation, and performance skills. Along with saxophone, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, and basic keyboard for support. My aim is to help students become confident, skilled, and responsible musicians.
