About Lamiya
Hello, and welcome to my profile.
My name is Lamiya, and I teach Malayalam because I believe language is much more than a subject taught in classrooms. It connects us to our stories, culture, and everyday lives.
Many students find Malayalam difficult, especially when they study in another medium of instruction or struggle with reading and writing. Having experienced the challenges of learning myself, I understand that every student learns at a different pace.
I want to share my knowledge because I believe learning becomes more meaningful when it is passed on to others. Teaching gives me an opportunity to help students understand Malayalam in a simple and comfortable way while also improving my own knowledge and skills.
My aim is to create a friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without fear of making mistakes.
For me, teaching is not only about completing lessons or preparing for examinations. It is also about sharing knowledge, learning together, and helping students become more confident in their abilities.

I believe students learn best when they actively participate rather than simply listen. My classes are designed to be interactive, student-friendly, and adapted to each learner's pace and understanding level.
I use real-life examples, games, visual aids, and question-based discussions to make concepts easier to understand and remember. For younger students, I include activities, storytelling, and simple exercises to keep them engaged.
After every class, I provide quick revision activities and practice questions to strengthen learning. I focus on building confidence, encouraging students to ask questions freely, and creating a comfortable environment where mistakes become opportunities to learn.
For better understanding , I use presentations, digital whiteboards, quizzes, and interactive activities to make lessons engaging rather than lecture-based.
