About Celene
Ni hao (你好)! Hello! I'm Celene, a Malaysian Chinese currently based in China. As a child of a multicultural world, languages and cultures have always fascinated me. Meeting people from all walks of life and learning their stories is like diving into a treasure trove! 🪄
I might not have formal certificates, but I've been immersed in both English and Mandarin since childhood. I'm a reading, writing, and listening enthusiast! Think of me as your friend from another country or culture, exchanging and learning new things together about ourselves!

Many find languages, especially Mandarin, a bit daunting. But guess what? Learning can be easy and FUN when you have the right approach and a patient guide by your side! I believe in making lessons engaging and tailored to your interests. Think conversations about your favorite movie, discussions on personal development (my other passion!), or maybe even diving into the psychology behind language learning itself!
In our first session, we'll chat about your learning goals, preferred style (structured classes, casual conversations, a mix?), and explore the best way to make progress. Think of it as a language discovery adventure where we learn through conversation, grammar, and new vocabularies!
