About Ralph Ernest
I have been a mathlete throughout my student years. I took up Management Engineering in university (I'd describe it as a hybrid between a business and a STEM course). I was part of a defunct college preparation services start-up in college. I am currently working on the side as a math tutor in Upwork. I have enough of the tools for you to give your trust in me to deliver quality work. I can and will take care of you.

As a former mathlete, expect my method to be more inclined to make it as digestible as much as possible through creative ways (Think of Singapore Math!) and through the use of easy-to-understand examples.
Lesson plans are structured simply. We immediately go to the meat of the topic. We introduce first the basic understanding of the lesson through easy examples then we traverse to the more intricate details. I'll then provide a worksheet tailor-made for the topic at hand to assess the understanding of the concepts. Remedial lessons will then be done based on the results of the initial worksheet to focus on points of weakness. A worksheet will then be supplemented focusing on these weak points. Remedial lessons may continue until performance is satisfactory. Lastly, a final test will be administered to wrap up the lesson.
My lessons are catered towards middle school students and junior high school students. However, I can accommodate lessons from elementary until senior high school students.
