Paid tutoring for the Calculus I and II courses at my college: 3 years, 2 nights each week. Experience with a wide variety of students, about 10 regular students per semester each year. I am a 2017 graduate of Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Science and a Minor in Mathematics. Middlebury is a top-tier liberal arts college with renowned programs in all of the STEM fields, currently ranked #5 in the nation among liberal arts colleges. My education from Middlebury gave me a diverse skill set far beyond the bare minimum skills necessary to tutor math and science; I graduated with the communication, language, and reasoning skills to shape my knowledge into something practical, useful, and able to be passed on. I tutored math and physics at my college for 3 years, offering 1 on 1 and general group help sessions for the students in the intro-level calculus and physics courses.
