About Khushi

Hello everyone! I’m Khushi from India. I’m currently in my final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Chinese at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), one of India’s leading universities for language studies.

During my university journey, I’ve had the opportunity to teach Chinese to junior students and my classmates. I also work as a teaching assistant for my professor, which has helped me develop my communication, explanation, and teaching skills.

As a Chinese language student myself, I understand that learning Chinese can sometimes feel challenging, especially when it comes to tones, pronunciation, grammar, and speaking confidently. That’s why I want to make my lessons supportive, practical, and personalized.

I’ll first understand your current level, goals, and interests, and then adapt our lessons to suit you. Whether you want to learn Chinese for HSK, improve your speaking skills, prepare for everyday conversations, or simply explore Chinese culture, I’ll help you learn step by step.

I believe that learning a language should not only be about memorizing words and grammar. It should also be about understanding the culture, communicating with people, and gaining the confidence to use the language in real life.

你好！Hello everyone! My name is Khushi, and I’m from India.

I’m currently in my final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Chinese, and I’ve been learning Chinese for several years.

I’ve had the opportunity to teach junior students and my classmates at university, and I also work as a teaching assistant for my professor.

So, how will we learn Chinese together?

First, I want to understand you—your current level, your goals, and most importantly, your interests.

Because I believe learning a language becomes much easier when you’re actually interested in what you’re learning.

Love Chinese dramas? We can learn natural expressions and dialogues from them.

Like music or anime? We can use them to make your lessons more fun and memorable.

We’ll develop all four skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—with a strong focus on practical communication.

We’ll also follow a structured textbook commonly used by Chinese universities to teach Chinese to international students, so you’ll have a clear and systematic learning path.

And for speaking practice, you will also have the opportunity to practice with a native Chinese speaker. This will help you improve your pronunciation, listening, and conversational Chinese and learn natural expressions that Chinese people actually use in everyday life.

We’ll also explore Chinese culture, history, society, social media, and everyday expressions, so you can understand not only the language, but also the people and culture behind it.

And most importantly, don’t be afraid of making mistakes! Mistakes are a natural part of learning a language.

My goal is to create a friendly and comfortable classroom where you can gradually become more confident using Chinese in real life.

So, if you’re ready to improve your Chinese and speak with more confidence, I’d love to have you in my class.
