About Marcel
I am Marcel a computer science graduate with over 5 years of hobbyist game development and programming experience. I love reading and drawing and am a decent chess player. I have made many games from 2D puzzle games to platformers and 3D shooters. I've also made many projects in various game engines like Godot, Unity and even SDL2. I also know many programming languages from C/C++ to Python and JavaScript and I've even built some websites. Through school and university I've helped my friends learn to code and they helped me learn that I love teaching people how to make games, just as much as actually making them. I recently finally graduated and now I'm doing tutoring to make some extra money to fund my own indie game company.

Learning takes patience, practice and most importantly a good attitude! Lessons are 1-on-1 and take at least an hour, where I will put my focus on you, and help you learn in the way you learn best.
I'll find out where you're at with your skills and help you build up from there whether it's starting with the basics or working through some bugs I can take you to the next level from wherever you're at.
For game development I mainly use the Godot game engine, which is also what I recommend for beginners. I can also help with Unity projects.
As someone who taught myself how to code at a young age I believe anyone can learn to code! Though I recommend ages 12 and up for the algebra skills needed.
