About Joyce
Weekly practice problems on coding platforms provide the backbone for our progress together. Coding requires iteration. My 13 years of experience inform the way I break down complex Python or JavaScript concepts into manageable exercises.
I draw upon my MArch and BEng background to ensure the context remains relevant to your architectural projects. These sessions are built to simulate real world problem solving environments. Technical precision defines my approach as you navigate the complexities of software development. Having spent 13 years bridging the gap between architecture and code, I assist AA and Bartlett students in mastering the logic of data structures. My practice is grounded in the reality of the computational design pipeline. I have guided hundreds of candidates through the rigours of Part 1 and Part 2 requirements.
My own trajectory includes time at Zaha Hadid and Foster + Partners where these languages became second nature. You will find my teaching style patient and focused on the core mechanics that often elude early developers. Many teens and intermediate learners struggle with the shift from visual design to pure script. I help you see the syntax behind the form.
