About Maria

Hello, my name is María, I am a cellist and a fashion design student.
I am a curious person, with multiple hobbies, who is always busy doing something. Besides drawing, sewing and playing the cello and piano, I also like to learn languages and different cultures, that's where my passion for traveling also comes from. I am currently studying Japanese and Italian. Due to this rhythm of life, I have had to learn to organize myself by force and have a certain discipline.
When I entered high school I was not sure that I wanted to study later, so I did my best to get the best possible grade and be able to choose career if I went to university
After two intense years of high school I managed to get an average of 9.05 between 1st and 2nd grade, with several honors. Finally, I decided to pursue a higher cycle instead of going to university because I liked the educational offer more, but if I had wanted to, I could have entered a university career.
The grades do not define who you are or your intelligence, but in the society we live in and the educational system we have, they are necessary to be able to access certain careers or obtain scholarships.
Unfortunately at school and in high school they teach you what you have to study but they don't teach you how. That is why I offer myself as a support teacher, to teach you tricks to be able to memorize and organize your notes, and create a certain discipline.
If you think you could use my help, do not hesitate to contact me :)

The methodology of my classes varies depending on whether I am teaching drawing, music or another type of subject. When I teach I always use mnemonic rules, which allow the student to remember data, or specific things, but in a way that is easier to remember. This method I have always used throughout my life both to learn content in high school, and to learn Hiragana (Japanese writing), keywords, etc.
If you have trouble learning the syllabus by heart or are not concentrating enough, using methods that help you remember and organize yourself in a more practical way is essential.

As a personal experience, when I was in it, I had regular grades, neither very good nor very bad, but when I reached high school they began to rise. In second year of high school, I obtained an average of 9.7 and five honors. This was not because I am super smart or because I have a very high IQ, but because I learned to organize myself, make notes and have a lot of willpower.

Also depending on the age of the student, I use more playful methods, that is, I turn the lesson into a game. I assure you that if you turn something into a game or a challenge, it will be much more fun (I, for example, when I was little, competed with my friends to see who finished before doing homework, and although it seems silly, we would have a blast) .

I encourage you to learn with me, I will do my best for you to pass and even get good grades:)

A giant hug,
María
