About Marin
I, Marin have been playing music alone and in a group setting since I was in elementary school. I love the togetherness that music brings and the never-ending opportunity to learn from those you play with. Singing and playing at home with my family has been a huge inspiration and encouragement to my musical journey. Outside of playing with family and loved ones in the home and at various music-based gatherings, I have studied classical music, orchestral and symphonic groups, and music theory middle through high school and continued with more focus on small groups and improvisation through college. I believe that my rich background creates a safe, well-rounded nest to offer to new musician chickadees.

Marin loves being a part of someone’s beginning. They like to lead with joy and playfulness in their lessons, leaving room for silliness and less shame/embarrassment, starting something new-can be hard! Each student will follow a general format for learning with generous modifications to meet their learning needs and specific dreams. Each student will be met with newness and curiosity, no two people learn exactly the same. Marin creates a safe place for their students to experience the joy of beginning again and again.
