About Caitlin
I am a third year BSc Marine Biology student, studying at Plymouth University. I love teaching anyone and everyone, sharing my extensive knowledge of science, especially biology and chemistry. As an avid cellist, bassist, pianist and choral director, I am also experienced in teaching music theory and singing techniques, as well as knowledge of musical instrument tuition. I am a friendly and incredibly enthusiastic individual, who enjoys imparting knowledge with others in a fun way, to ensure that people get the most out of learning!

While I have little experience of personal tutoring, I do have teaching experience, both from outreach events at the National Marine Aquarium, and 4 years volunteering at Riding for the Disabled. Coupled with my current role as Musical Director of the Student Choir, I know how is best to enthuse people and get them loving the subject they are learning. These experiences enable me to tailor my lessons to the individual and their specific needs.

I will tailor my methods to the needs of the individual, and will always take into consideration any recommendations that they or their school teachers have. I have gained experience in working with children with special educational needs through my time at RDA, and this has given me methods to enable everyone to achieve their full potential.
