About Katie
Hi, I’m Katie and I have over 15 years of professional art experience, mostly in the comic industry. I love painting colourful serene landscapes, and developing stories that resonate with others. I commit to attending life drawing lessons every week, so I am also improving alongside you too.

During your first tutoring session we’ll explore what you’d like to get better at, and draw up a road map of how to get there.
Please let me know what you’d like to concentrate on: lighting, shading, composition, perspective, getting dynamic posing etc…
We’ll take small bites rather than tackle everything all at once, you’ll improve faster this way.
Typical lesson length: 1 - 3 hrs depending on what your schedule. I can do full days, though these are typically reserved for schools.
Ages taught: 12 years old and upwards. Parents welcome during introduction, and all face to face lessons.
Qualifications: I have a degree in Illustration. Clients include: Marvel, Lucasfilm, InkBlot Comics and various event companies.
