About Ellie
I believe music is a lifelong gift, and I am grateful to have spent the last 15 years teaching flute to school and college students. My teaching style is patient, practical, and focused on helping students learn with confidence.
Every lesson begins with strong fundamentals such as breathing, posture, rhythm, scales, finger techniques, and tone development. As students gain experience, I guide them toward expressive performance and better musical understanding.
Seeing students overcome challenges and perform confidently has been one of the proudest moments of my teaching career. I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, music appreciation, and performance skills.
My goal is to make music education enjoyable while helping every student achieve lasting success.

Learning music should be exciting, meaningful, and enjoyable. My flute teaching methodology combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to provide students with a positive learning experience that develops both technical skills and confidence.
I personalize every lesson according to the student's age, ability, and musical interests. Students first learn posture, breathing techniques, rhythm, note reading, finger movement, and tone production. Advanced lessons focus on articulation, dynamics, scales, improvisation, musical interpretation, and performance confidence.
Motivation encourages students to practice regularly and enjoy their progress. Communication ensures every lesson is clear, interactive, and easy to follow. Integrity creates a respectful learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Creative learning includes favorite melodies, folk songs, classical music, rhythm activities, listening practice, ear training, duet playing, and musical games. Besides flute, I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm development, and stage performance.
