Welcome to a fresh and friendly way to learn maths! If maths anxiety has held you back, my lessons are designed to change that. I use plenty of visual aids, interactive games, and real-life examples to make every concept clear and engaging. My teaching style is relaxed and supportive — a space where curiosity thrives and questions are always welcome. Whether you identify as an Analyst or Quant, I’m here to help you build confidence and find joy in numbers. Maths becomes less about pressure and more about discovery. About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Computational Mathematics. My passion lies in making advanced maths approachable and meaningful, especially for non-STEM majors. I believe maths shouldn’t be just about heavy computations or memorising formulas. Instead, I focus on helping students grasp the core concepts and see how these ideas connect to the world around them. I use everyday analogies and historical stories to bring abstract theories to life. This approach helps students understand not only the “how” but also the “why” behind mathematical principles. Many of my students come from liberal arts and humanities backgrounds, or they’ve struggled with maths anxiety in the past. I work closely with each learner to create a supportive space where questions are encouraged and maths feels less intimidating. My goal is to demystify maths by highlighting the big ideas that underlie complex topics. Together, we explore concepts at a comfortable pace, building a strong foundation that lasts. I want every student to see maths not as a barrier, but as a fascinating lens through which to view the world. By connecting maths to familiar experiences, I help students develop confidence and curiosity. Ultimately, I hope to inspire appreciation for maths’ universal impact — beyond numbers, it’s about problem-solving, logical thinking, and creative insight. I look forward to guiding you on your journey towards mathematical confidence and discovery.
