My lessons in Math go far beyond textbooks. I turn abstract concepts into concrete experiences that make learning both engaging and meaningful. I use creative problem-solving scenarios, interactive logic puzzles, and real-world simulations to make complex equations feel approachable. Every session is designed to connect math to the world around you. This way, concepts stop feeling like isolated problems and start feeling like useful tools. My methodology is hands-on and exploratory, encouraging students to discover solutions independently rather than relying solely on memorized steps. I work closely with both Problem Solvers and Exam Takers, guiding them to truly understand the “why” behind each process. This deeper understanding builds not just skill, but lasting confidence. My approach develops mathematical intuition that students carry with them far beyond the classroom. Through curiosity, exploration, and practical application, math transforms from a challenge into a creative journey. About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and a MSc in Computational Mathematics. My passion lies in making advanced mathematical concepts accessible and meaningful, especially for non-STEM majors. I focus on conceptual understanding and relevance rather than heavy computation, helping students see the ideas behind the numbers.

I also weave in historical context, showing how mathematical ideas evolved and why they matter today. This approach transforms maths from a set of procedures into a living story.

Much of my work has been with liberal arts students, humanities scholars, and those who once believed mathematics was beyond them. Many of them come with past experiences of math phobia, and together we work to replace fear with curiosity. I guide students to see mathematics as an intellectual adventure rather than a hurdle.

My teaching uncovers the big ideas behind complex theories, helping learners build deeper understanding and lasting skills. Over time, students gain confidence not only in solving problems but in appreciating the elegance of mathematics. I believe mathematics is a universal language that shapes how we understand the world.
