About Pavel

I am a New York–based photographer with a career spanning high fashion, theater, and editorial work, collaborating with world-renowned artists, directors, and celebrities.

My images have appeared in leading international publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times, where I worked both as a staff and freelance photographer, shooting major cover stories and high-profile assignments.

I have also spent years working behind the scenes in theater and live performance, collaborating closely with visionary directors and creative teams, which shaped my deep understanding of light, composition, and storytelling.

What sets me apart as a teacher is my hands-on approach. I don’t overload students with theory — I show how to solve real problems, make strong images under pressure, and think like a working professional from day one.

My teaching is direct, practical, and immediately applicable: you learn by doing, not by memorizing.

I help photographers break through hesitation, develop confidence, and quickly elevate their visual language.
