About Ethel
I will be commencing my PhD in January and have been a casual private tutor since 2011. I also have teaching and research experience and always glad to help various individuals achieve their academic goals.
I have taught/mentored over 50 people from different walks of life. With my guidance a couple have passed their course assignments and exams which lead to obtaining their degrees/certificates in Sociology, Social Work, Disability, English Language and more.
I am a good listener and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds. I am a strong advocate for empowerment, integrity, and equity in any project in which I participate.

My teaching methodology is the discussion method because it involves two-way communication where I carefully listen to your needs and provide assistance as needed.
I base each session on the level of understanding of each individual. My lessons are for both young and old. I am aware that we all learn at different pace, so I practice positive classroom behaviour and use a variety of ways to engage students.
