About Chelsea
I have a Bachelor's in Music from Humber College (Toronto, Canada), a Master's in Jazz Arranging from William Paterson University (Wayne, NJ), and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Studio Jazz Writing at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. I am passionate about education and have taught in classrooms and privately since 2014. I believe in helping every student reach their full potential, and building a strong foundation from which each student can achieve their future goals. Music requires you to bring your whole self to the table, and I aim to provide a safe space in which students can dedicate themselves to their craft in a healthy manner.

I teach saxophone, clarinet, and flute players of all ages and levels how to develop healthier relationships with their instruments, and get better at playing and improvising! I have a background in jazz saxophone and composition and know a lot about the real-world experiences of being a professional musician. Besides that, I'm an active composer and arranger, and can create personalized exercises that will best help you as you progress on the instrument.
