*I hold a MA in TESOL (linguistics) from SUNY Stony Brook
*BA in developmental Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook
*20+ years of classroom teaching in NY and CA
*20 years of after school tutoring in all subjects
*15 years of college level English to ELL's/English comp.
*9 years Homeschool Teaching - Elementary , all subjects
My many years of teaching in classrooms from elementary through college have allowed me to know what students need to learn English. I have also worked with students in their homes as a tutor and homeschool educator. The personal one-on-one teaching/learning environment is ideal for success in any subject. I have infinite patience and enthusiasm for all levels and truly seek to find the optimum method for each student.
I have had great fun with my elementary students, bringing them up to speed with all their academics, watching them excel in school as they find great confidence in their abilities.
