To me Mr. Eugene can be considered as a good teacher, tutor, mentor and even a coach. This is because he doesn’t limit his services to just supporting a child in his or her studies, he also goes all the way to touch areas that are not completely associated with academics. I believe this is the best way and approach in guiding students because sometimes, the person in question may not be performing well in school due to reasons that are not necessarily associated with school. Unfortunately, many teachers/tutors are not concerned about these issues, they just cover the academic areas and neglect the moral ones, including communication skills, professional skills, personality and other relevant areas, leaving it to the mercy of the parents and life circumstances.
