About Serene Marie
Regardless of your background, together we can make your goals in learning English a reality. I have taught K-12 grade for nine years and worked with various levels of students with different academic abilities and gifts. Whether language is your strength or not, we can totally work together to make it one.
Although, it says Los Angeles, CA for where I am at teaching, I only teach English online so the learner can be located anywhere, making learning accessible for all.

My teaching method is based upon social constructivism, which is active learning in essence where the students are engaged in the learning process rather than being passive learners listening to the instructor the entire time. My lessons are tailored to meet your learning goals that we will discuss together to create those goals. As long as somebody has some knowledge already of English and wants to enhance their reading, writing, and communication skills in the language, then we can totally work together to make this happen. I have K-12 teaching experience and welcome people from all backgrounds to come learn with me!
