About GIZEM
My name is Gizem, I am from Turkey, 29 years old, and I live in Toronto, Canada. I have been teaching English for 7 years. I graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Manisa Celal Bayar University in 2017 and became an English teacher. I am also a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certified English teacher.
In my free time, I read books (English and American literature, philosophical books, science fiction, and fantasy books), listen to music, travel, practice yoga, cook, research healthy living, and learn foreign languages.
I have been teaching English for 7 years. After graduating from university, I started working as an English teacher. So far, I have worked in kindergarten, primary schools, secondary schools, and universities. I also have extensive experience giving online or face-to-face private and group lessons.

As a CELTA and CELPIP-certified English tutor, I employ a student-centered approach that focuses on active engagement, practical usage, and measurable progress.
